Who can apply

MEG and EPOS applications are linked and submitted as one package.
Applicants from DAAD-eligible developing/DAC countries
At least two years of relevant post-Bachelor professional experience. Internships and voluntary work are not accepted.
Two recommendation letters, one employer and one academic, must be sent directly by referees.
MEG admission criteria must also be satisfied.
No more than 15 months residence in Germany before applying under the published rule.
Academic degree not older than six years at the October 2026 application point.
Academic result above average, described as upper third.
TOEFL iBT 95 under the pre-2026 scale or the programme's stated equivalent on the 2026 scale, IELTS 7, Cambridge C1, or PTE Academic 76, subject to stated exemptions.
