Editorial independence
Providers cannot purchase a verification label, a favourable eligibility assessment or the removal of material limitations. Sponsored material, when introduced, must be clearly labelled and remain separate from verification decisions.
Source priority
Official government, institution, funder and program pages are preferred. Aggregator content may support discovery but cannot alone establish a deadline, funding package, application route or hard eligibility rule.
Publication decisions
Automated systems may collect, structure and compare evidence. Publication remains controlled by explicit evidence gates. Ambiguous or conflicting records are held for review rather than presented as settled facts.
Corrections
Submitted corrections become review tasks. Public records change only after the supporting source is checked. Material corrections update the record and its publication history.
Conflicts of interest
Staff must disclose relationships that could affect a record. A different reviewer should handle decisions involving a disclosed conflict.
