South African citizen or permanent resident pursuing eligible full-time Master’s or PhD study at a South African university in a SAMRC priority research area, with the required university and SAMRC supervisory/host support. First-year Master’s applicants must be admitted for 2027 and provide the specified supervisor support letters.
