Role

Responsibilities

Conduct research for the marine nitrous oxide project.

Candidate profile

Qualifications and requirements

Qualifications

PhD in microbiology or marine biology, and/or relevant work experience.
Experience maintaining and manipulating marine invertebrates.
Fieldwork experience and advanced SCUBA diving qualification at Rescue level or above.
Experience with gas chromatography and isotope analysis.
Microbiology knowledge and microbiome-analysis skills, including metagenomics and metatranscriptomics.
Ability to conduct high-quality independent research and collaborate across disciplines.
