- Develop an original doctoral thesis aligned with one of the research groups of the Radboud Institute for Culture and History. Research topics may address difficult heritage, contested pasts, inequalities, sustainability and other dynamics of an interconnected world.

- Master’s degree in a discipline related to the Radboud Institute for Culture and History, completed by 15 September 2026 at the latest.
Requirements
- Strong academic writing, independent research, project planning and ability to contribute to teaching and academic service.
- Good command of English and good writing skills.
- Demonstrable research experience, such as a research assistantship, is an advantage.
Employment package
Benefits
- €3,059 gross per month initially, rising to €3,881 gross per month from the fourth year, based on a 38-hour work week.
