  • PhD in theoretical or computational physics, quantum information or computing, applied mathematics, computer science, or closely related discipline; submitted-thesis candidates may be considered under the King's research clause
  • Strong research experience in tensor networks, Pauli propagation, quantum information, quantum algorithms, many-body physics, quantum simulation, computational physics or closely related area
  • Python, Julia, C++ or comparable scientific programming
  • Independent numerical research and validation
  • Open, reproducible and documented research practice
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Effective collaboration with academic and external partners
